Albuquerque Journal Endorses Mark Ronchetti – What the …?

The Albuquerque Journal’s endorsement of Mr. Ronchetti for Governor would be funny if the consequences weren’t so dire.  “A Republican political neophyte with zero management experience.”  “…..has not served on a county commission, in a state cabinet post, in Congress…”.

This is a TV weatherman who, a few years ago, decided he wanted to be a US Senator.  When that didn’t work out, he went back to the TV show and then decided he wanted to be a Governor.  What’s next, a firefighter, police officer?  Even in those jobs you don’t get to be Chief without some relevant experience.

During this campaign, he has made it clear, based on the people he’s campaigned with, he supports the insurrectionists and despite his comment about not believing “Trump’s Big Lie”, is bringing in people who DO believe the lie to campaign with him.

New Mexicans smartly rejected one TV reality guy twice.  Let’s do it again for governor.
