First Friday

The Democratic Party of Sandoval County returned to its schedule of regular First Friday of each monthly meeting. The Nov. 4 meeting occurred at the Range Cafe in Bernalillo. Laura Montoya, candidate for New Mexico Treasurer spoke at the events, which was emceed by DPSC chair Alexandria Piland.

Second Saturday

The Democratic Party of Sandoval County met Nov. 12, 2022 at M’tucci’s Moderno Italian restaurant in Rio Rancho to talk about first impressions of the recent elections in Sandoval County and New Mexico.

Canvassers checking in

Sandoval County Democrats turned out to canvass on Oct. 22, 2022.

The Governor and Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury met with the group to inspire the canvassers to help elect Democrats in the 2022 General Election. Other statewide and local candidates attended the canvassing rally. You may see all the photos here:

The Democratic Party of Sandoval County held a Get Out the Vote Rally in Bernalillo on Oct. 8. The Democrats were treated to headline appearance from statewide, congressional, and local candidates.

Democrats host rally for Governor in Rio Rancho

The Democratic Party of Sandoval County joined the Re-election campaign of Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and the New Mexico Democratic Co-ordinated Campaign in hosting a Democratic Rally at the County Party’s Headquarters in Rio Rancho on Sept. 9, 2022.  The Governor urged the crowd to vote the entire Democratic slate of candidates for the Nov. 8, 2022 election. Local candidates addressed the attendees prior to the meeting.

The Democratic Party of Sandoval County joined the Sandoval County Fair Parade held in Cuba, NM, on Saturday, August 8. Participation by Sandoval Democrats energized the crowd. Let’s hope that it helps them Vote Blue in November.

The Democratic Party of Sandoval County held a rally at Cochiti Lake on July 29 to let Democratic candidates and voters get to know each other. Cochiti Lake Mayor Don Topper joined in the festivities that included presentations by statewide and local candidates.

Democratic Party of Sandoval County activists joined in the Democratic Party of New Mexico’s first Kick Ass Awards held in Albuquerque. The event recognized the exceptional work of Democratic volunteers to help elect Democratic candidates in November.
