At the public forums, staff from the City’s Development Services Department and consultant National Development Council will review the results of an online public opinion survey conducted between June-July 2022, seek input from those in attendance, and answer questions.

As part of Rio Rancho Mayor Gregg Hull’s FY 2022 Budget message, $75,000 was recommended to be allocated for an Affordable Housing Study. The study was approved by the Governing Body as part of the FY 2022 Budget adoption process.  As a result, City of Rio Rancho staff, through a request for proposals process, began working with the National Development Council in order to collect information about the community and develop a study to be presented to the Governing Body.  For over 50 years, the National Development Council has worked with local and state governments to help create and implement unique economic and community development strategies.
