From the County Chair – These Are the Most Important Things You Can Do Right Now.

Dear, dear Democrats,

We are in the midst of a very contentious election cycle, and  WE NEED EVERYONE’S HELP!

First, please turn out for the Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Rally on October 8 in the Town of Bernalillo.

We need help canvassing, phone banking, and texting.

Please consider canvassing – it’s the most effective thing you can do. We launch regularly on Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. from our DPSC Headquarters at 661 Quantum Road, Suite 12, Rio Rancho. We’ve added a Sunday canvassing launch in October. Wondering how to talk to potential voters? We can help you!

Phone banking can be done on your own schedule. Admittedly, phone banking can be tough. Many calls aren’t answered these days because of caller ID and cell phones, but it is still necessary, and it is productive.

Phone banking helps us to connect with certain voters, and every voter we connect with is a potential new vote and saves candidates money! We also find out if a line is disconnected, which is incredibly valuable information.

Texting is the easiest way to connect with voters as EVERYONE READS A TEXT!  It is quick and incredibly rewarding.

Canvassing, phone banking, and texting are for motivating people to vote, but what about actual voting?

Are you available to be a poll watcher?  If so, please contact me at 505-350-6590 or email me at chair@sandovaldemocrats.org.

Are you interested in helping with visibility throughout the county?  If so, again, please email me or call me. I will connect you with the right people.

We need people to post and repost voter information on every social media platform.
