There were 3 city council elections and 3 bond measures on the March 2024 ballot in Rio Rancho. City council election results were:

District 1

*Jim Owen: 398 (43%)
Thomas N. Gentry III: 125 (13%)
*Deborah S. Dapson: 412 (44%)

District 4

Raymond Anthony Archibeque: 292 (27%)
Paul M. Wymer: 582 (54%)
Alexandria C. Piland: 210 (19%)

District 6

*Edward Lynn Paulsgrove: 379 (28%)
Chris J. Vanden-Heuvel: 73 (5%)
*Nicole Dahn List: 579 (43%)
Aleta P. Suazo: 325 (24%)

If you live in Rio Rancho District 1, make sure you vote for Deb Dapson, a strong Democratic Party candidate. Election will be held on Tuesday, April 9^th. Early voting until April 6^th.

Bond election results were:

Roads and Infrastructure
For: 3,842 (75%)
Against: 1,269 (25%)

Public Safety
For: 3,586 (70%)
Against: 1,525 (30%)

Quality of Life Facilities
For: 3,416 (67%)
Against: 1,690 (33%)

The voters of Rio Rancho continue to overwhelmingly support major public works projects for improved quality of life.
